Tanelle Bolt is our newest NitroGolf/ParaGolf Training Centre member and instructor. As a Paraplegic she has insight into the disabilities community and will be a tremendous addition to the Training Centre. Can’t wait to get started.

Deaf & Blind Canadian 3 time World Champion Speed Skater. Kevin has Usher Syndrome Type 2 which means, he has 3.5 % vision left and 9% hearing left…. Kevin Frost and his Guide Dog “Lewis“ live in Ottawa, Ontario.
During the last 24 years, he has won 16 gold medals and set 9 World records in Blind speed skating. He is a three-time World Champion in Blind Long Track and Short Track-Speed Skating, he is also ranked 8th in the World against able-bodied Master – Speed Skaters. So far, winning 80 medals against able-bodied skaters.
In addition to speed skating, Kevin trained for 5 years on the Team Canada Development Rowing Team and two years with the Canadian Paralympics Blind Running Team. In 2017, Kevin also made the Canadian standard for tandem cycling for Road Racing. He competed at the indoor Velodrome in Milton, Ontario, on a Tandem Bike, winning a Silver Medal in 2017 and in 2018 winning a Silver Medal at the Canadian Road Race Time Trials in Montreal, Quebec. An advocate for the disabilities Kevin has given over 325 motivational talks around the world, has165 newspaper articles and documentaries done on his life journey, 50 TV interviews and a Para-Olympics commercial.
Life is always a challenge no matter what…. but you just have to pick up the pieces and keep going. I only have three senses left but I make the Best of Everything Every Day. “My success isn`t just about what I can accomplish in my life…it`s about what I can inspire others with some of my same conditions to do.“

August 2020 – Congratulation to George Thirkill from Langley B.C. and Kiefer Jones from Calgary, Alberta for there excellent performance in winning their Division classes in the North American Blind Golf Virtual Cloud Tournament held at their respective golf course. George won medals in his Senior 80+ B3 division and Kiefer won the Over-All Tournament with a score of 72-69…Amazing golfers…So nice to have them on the NitroGolf Team.

Our First Annual Golf tournament for the disabilities was held on September 29th, 2019 at the Cultus Lake Golf club in Chilliwack, B.C

GEORGE THIRKILL…July 2019-Wins medals in all 3 Blind Golf Tournaments. History was made this year with 3 Blind tournaments held in British Columbia during the week of July 4th to 13th. The tournaments were hosted in Creston at the Creston Golf Club for the B.C. Provincial championships, in Kimberly at BootLeg Gap Golf Course for the Western Canadian championships and in Cranbrook at the St. Eugene Golf Resort for the ISPS HANDA Canadian Nationals. There were 49 golfers from all over the world from Mexico. Korea to Ireland and Israel and North America. George represented B.C. and played in the senior division and Won the overall low Net in the B.C. provincials and came in runner-up in the other 2 tournaments. The Canadian National championships overall winner was World #1 young Blind golfer Kiefer Jones from Calgary with a score of 77 on day one and 77 on day two.
