25 New Blind golfers attended the June 21, 2023 CANADIAN COUNCIL FOR THE BLIND-Introduction to Golf a Sports Day at the ParaGolf Canada-Nitrogolf Training Centre.
Such a great response by all the new golfers and their guide dogs and
personal guides. The 3 hour session was exciting for many since some
had never golfed. Everyone enjoyed themselves and found the new
experience enlightening and so much fun….As one member put it…”I’m going golfing now”
The sports day was a 3 day event with introduction to Golf, Lawn
Bowling, Hiking and Dragon Boat racing with Members coming from all over British Columbia. Darren Douma the lead for the group said that the Golf introduction clinic was a success as you can tell by the smiles on their faces. Thank you coach and See you next year again.
