WESTERN CANADIAN BLIND GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS

WESTERN CANADIAN BLIND GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS – JULY 2ND TO JULY 6TH. 2017 – SASKATOON

What a successful Blind golf event it was at the Western Canadian Championships in Saskatoon. Over 80 golfers were in attendance and “The Legends” Golf Course in Warman, Sask. Hosted the event.  Of the many winners Keifer Jones, from Calgary, a 24 year old B3 Blind golfer broke the World Record  for blind golfers with a -4 under 68 from the White Tees.  I am so proud of Keifer and what he accomplished.   Another student Josh also from the Calgary area shot a 95 from the white Tees.  He is such an inspiration to other golfers.  You say 95 not bad for a blind golfer. Click on the video below….Josh is actually Blind, has a Disabled left arm and a prosthetic left leg…he swings with one hand,  You think you can’t golf ..come out for lessons with me…”You can do it.”
